I am Bomin, a 2nd year Computer Science and Biology student at University of Toronto Scarborough. My passion lies at bioinformatics, which is the intersection of these two disciplines. I enjoy learning different data structures, simulating molecular dynamics, coding pipelines, and thinking about abstract math concepts.
Outside of my studies, I have a few other interests. I find it fascinating to read about new developments in science and technology, which expand my scientific imagination. My main interests include -omics, microbiomes, and AI/ML, though I occasionally get drawn into astrophysics as well. Additionally, I love playing badminton. My goal is to master a powerful smash and improve my defensive skills.
